    Discussion Canister > Question...

Hey LA, fellow readers. Short-time reader, first-time questioner/poster. I like the stuff that's going on on the site; like the materials. Just wondering, because I've noticed recently, is how things have been going how we can expect them to keep going? Meaning, more Firering posts and less LA posts? Or something else? Just curious!

That's a good question! And, as the author, I wish I had a simple answer. I saw your post a couple days ago; and I wanted to write you an answer, but each of my preliminary responses was really long! Since I didn't want to bore you - or anyone else, I decided to give the idea some thought before answering.

And, having thought about it, this is my answer:

    1) I like the "Main" storyline a lot; however, as I think the "old" readers will notice, it has undergone changes over the years. Part of that is me becoming a better writer (some would say "blogger"); part of that is simple stylistic changes. The problem with it is that there is a natural stopping point that I had trouble envisioning for a while; part of it is simple writer's block. I'm for a lack of a better term, anal, about what I put up, so if I don't like a certain post or fragment, I won't publish it. My attitude is that I will take the time to get things "right" rather than rush them.

    2) I was excited about the "Firering" because it allows me to work on other projects; and it also allows me to share other projects with my readers in a faster manner than incorporating them through my main blog. I guess you could call it "Last Adventurer +". I also wanted the Firering to have a decent amount of readers, and hopefully take off a little on its own - be self-sufficient in its own way, so I probably had more posts there than in the "Main" area.

What I'm trying to say is that at this point I don't intend for the Firering to supplant the Main blog. What I would like to do is keep both current and fresh, and hopefully, for the near future, that means more "Main" posts. And that my friends, is "the plan".
